NBSCLIMATE, we are a Spanish social enterprise that facilitates the design, evaluation, funding, scale-up, and continuous improvement of Nature-based Solutions (NbS) through the IUCN Global Standard for NbS, which professional certificate we hold, together with other related certificates on “Finance for Nature” by IUCN, and on “Decent Work through NBS” by ILO, UNEP and IUCN. Therefore, we maximize the impact of NbS interventions, particularly on climate resilience, biodiversity, and inclusive socio-economic opportunities, by optimizing scale and scalability, inclusive governance, economic viability, balanced tradeoffs, and adaptive management. Moreover, we bring the social innovation and green entrepreneurship perspective into the NbS space through our incubation program for Nature-based Enterprises (NbE), at Ribering, our coworking, coliving and event venue in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain.
