UIA NATUR-W (2024-26): environmental actions for urban regeneration and water management in Lorca

Nature-based Urban Regeneration through Water – Integrating the water cycle in urban renaturing in Lorca (Spain) and follower EU cities. The aim is to address urban challenges brought by energy poverty and climate change, specifically, the increase in temperatures, extreme heat and water scarcity. It will implement innovative, inclusive, sustainable and self-sufficient environmental actions that integrate the natural water cycle of the area to improve the energy efficiency of social housing and public buildings and regenerate the urban area.
